Organizational Memberships

The Great Lakes Economic Development Council moved to an organizational membership model in July, 2024. Under this model, you may designate as many members as you choose from the organization to participate in the GLEDC and its benefits which include:

Pricing is based on the number of staff who should receive member benefits under your organization, as follows:

ORGANIZATIONAL

  • 1:      $240
  • 2-3: $540
  • 4-6: $900
  • 7-10: $1440
  • 11-20: $2690

STUDENTS AND RETIRED ECONOMIC DEVELOPERS

This membership type is only for those individuals who are no longer actively employed in the economic development profession or students not employed in the field.

Leadership Level Memberships

FOUNDING MEMBER - GLEDC offers members the opportunity to participate financially in the foundational costs of creating an impactful organization. Founding members participate at this level for five years, then maintain their founding status by remaining members at the Sustaining level. Founding members are memorialized as early visionaries in forming the GLEDC.

SUSTAINING MEMBER - Sustaining Members share a mission and vision for the Great Lakes region that is that is closely aligned with GLEDC’s. This category is open to organizations in recognition of leadership support of the purposes and activities of the association. There are three levels of Sustaining Membership, each with their own package of benefits.

STRATEGIC PARTNERS - The Great Lakes Economic Development Council is seeking strategic partnerships with economic development service providers who have an established market presence. We seek your expertise and leadership in enhancing the overall Great Lakes Economic Development Council membership experience. As one of the leading platforms for economic development pros in eight US states and two Canadian provinces, the GLEDC can help extend your business by differentiating and enhancing your own service offerings, while offering a boost to your sales through category exclusivity.
