With over 10,000 miles of freshwater coastline and a legacy of innovation, sustainability, and industry leadership, the Great Lakes region is uniquely positioned to drive the future of the global blue economy. As the world increasingly turns to water-based industries, smart water solutions, and sustainable economic models, the Great Lakes can serve as a blueprint for growth, resilience, and revitalization.

We’ll be joined by Mr. John Austin, who coined the term "Blue Economy" to describe the ways in which water and water innovation fuel economic growth. Prior to his current role, Mr. Austin founded and led the Michigan Economic Center for 12 years, spearheading initiatives like "Growing Michigan’s Blue Economy," which helped stakeholders leverage Michigan’s vast water assets, research, and innovation ecosystem to drive economic development, job creation, and business growth.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the transformation! Register today to learn how the Great Lakes is positioning itself as a global hub for sustainable water solutions and how you can be part of the blue economy revolution.
